"This is my Father's world, And to my lis-t'ening ears. All nature sings and round me rings the music of the spheres. This is my Father's world; I rest me in the thought of rocks and trees, of skies and seas His hands the wonders wrought."
A song out of the children's "My First Hymnal"
We found 3 baby bunnies in our yard!
New LIFE

Arabella & Orrin check on them every morning

We are wishing for SUNSHINE again but to have beautiful spring days we must have the rain like today. As in our lives Jesus brings us pain/rain for us to grow beautifully in HIM.

  1. They almost look like chicken eggs! It will be fun to watch the babies when they hatch...
I love the new life that is popping up from all this rain =)

  2. Thanks for posting a stanza of Maltbie Babcock's fine hymn, "This Is My Father's World"--and for the lovely pictures that remind us of our Creator's work.

Today is the 151st anniversary of Babcock's birth. He was making two important points with his hymn. First, that the natural world is the handiwork of God. And second, that although the moral world seems so corrupt, God has not lost control, and His purposes will triumph in the end. In the words of the last stanza, "Though the wrong seems oft so strong, / God is the Ruler yet." God bless.
